What is the Project Missions Launchpad?
It is a Personalised Discipleship Training & Internship program with an intent to have you immersed in the Word of God, be guided by the Holy Spirit and live as sold-out disciples of Jesus Christ who will go and make more disciples.
It is a three-month residential program to help you discover who you are in Christ, get you started on a journey to become more like Jesus Christ, mould and train you to be a disciple who will go and make more disciple makers and also to provide you with a solid foundation to be able to go and achieve new and greater things for Jesus Christ out in the World.
It is also offered as a non-residential program where students can attend the scheduled sessions as a Day student and reap out similar benefits if not the same.
We offer the residential and non-residential program without taking any fees but we do encourage the Students to make a freewill offering at the end of the Course which will be used for Kingdom expansion purposes.
Curriculum Structure
The three-month Discipleship Training & Internship Program is designed to ‘Coach, Train, Mould, Equip & Partner with’ you for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. You can join the Program as a residential or a day student.
The main focus of the Curriculum at the Project Missions Launchpad – Discipleship Training & Internship Program is to:
- COACH
- Dynamics of Discipleship Coaching (16 hours of Group Coaching Workshop)
- Biweekly 60 minutes 1:1 Coaching Session with an Internationally Certified Coach
- TRAIN
- Journey of Discipleship (56 hours of Classroom Training)
- Discipleship Evangelism (23 hours of Collaborative Training)
- MOULD
- Holy Spirit 101 (24 hours of Classroom Interaction)
- Deploying Intercession & Prayer Movements (32 hours of Classroom Interaction)
- EQUIP
- Implementing Discipleship: Context, Content, Communication & Connect (16 hours of Equipping & Practical Study)
- Missional & Ministry Practical Assignments
- PARTNER
- 10 hours of Ministry in the Local Church and Community every week
- Involvement and Partnership in the Worship Team and the Sunday School Ministry
PROGRAM START DATE
The 3 month long Project Missions Launchpad 2019 – Discipleship Training & Internship Program commences on July 1, 2019. The Certification Service is scheduled to be held on Oct 6, 2019.
RESIDENTIAL & NON RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM CRITERIA
For the year 2019, the Residential program is only open for Male candidates.
Free accommodation for the Residential students will be made available with basic amenities and facilities. The monthly budget needed for food and other sanitary/basic needs will be planned and calculated by the students and the required finances will be provided on a monthly basis. We believe that managing finances and taking care of the household chores is an important part of Christian Discipleship walk and by using this approach we desire to mould and train the students to be better stewards.
The Non-Residential program will be open for both Male & Female Candidates. The Non-Residential/Day scholar students are expected to attend the Sessions on the Weekdays starting from 10.45 AM to 1.30 PM. On certain number of days they may also be required to attend the Post-Lunch Classes as per requirements.
Biweekly 1 hour Coaching Sessions will be open for both Residential & Non-Residential Students as per the interest and need of the Student.
